If your student requires the use of a screen reader to complete the assessment, select the Windows icon to download our accessible client.

Kite Student Portal Update for 2026–2027

Kite Student Portal will be updated to version 12 for the 2026–2027 school year. All student devices will need to be updated to ensure compatibility with the new release. For those seeing the ‘Chrome apps will no longer be supported’ message in the Google Admin console, please know that version 12 will use a new, fully supported deployment method for ChromeOS, and once installed, it will be fully compatible with Chromebooks. Updated installation guides and deployment instructions will be available this summer when the new version is released. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact the Kite Support Desk at nm-asr-support@ku.edu.
